Welcome to my blog.
I’m Jenny Carpenter and I moved to Hove at the end of 2010 with my fiancé Simon. Originally I’m from South London and having spent the previous 2 years living in Brighton and then Horsham, I’m back to the sea and I’m very happy about it.
My current and most important project to date is my baby daughter, Isla, who was born 5 Dec 2011 and is already the light of our lives.
I love to write and live in the imaginary worlds I create. A few things that you should know about me: I don’t like lemon-flavoured sweets, bitterly cold winds or barky dogs but I really like crisps, springtime and laughing with my friends.
I just hope someone else is interested in what I see out of my window and my observations of the world.
As well as writing this blog, I have also added a few pages of some young fiction that I am currently working on. The Fix-It-Fairies, The Good Night Patrol and my most recent work inspired by my new daughter, Isla Dreams.
